With the rise of virtualized architectures comes the complexity of managing highly distributed, heterogeneous, multivendor environments and the proliferation of infrastructure management APIs with minimal alignment across compute, storage, and networking.
Open Distributed Infrastructure Management (ODIM™) is a Linux Foundation® project aimed at addressing the increased complexity of managing geographically distributed physical infrastructure at scale.
This tutorial will include both a demonstration of ODIM in action and an architectural deep dive into this exciting new project.
