Samuli Kuusela is a Security Architect in Ericsson’s Chief Technology Office, focusing on getting security right in the Ericsson portfolio, especially in the context of new technologies like cloud-native and Kubernetes. He has been active in ONAP (Open Network Automation Platform) security since the Beijing release, and started to contribute for security of CNTT (Common NFVi Telco Taskforce) Kubernetes Reference Architecture in autumn 2019. He has worked in the telco industry for the past 24 years, out of which 23 years with Ericsson in product development and last 13 years contributing for security of the portfolio. He drives a corporate-wide security community which shares best practices on security technologies, implementations and other aspects which help Ericsson’s product and service portfolio to maintain the appropriate level of security. Samuli received his M.Sc. (Tech) in Process Engineering from the Åbo Akademi University.
